i just put another inj pump on and it runs again. check the timing with a tech 2 and the offset reads -2.46 and it will set a code 1214. adjusted the injection pump twice but the offset reads the same. used the tech 2 to clear the codes and held the go pedal down for at least 45 sec and turned the key off for 30 sec. started the truck back up temp was below 170 ran till it got above by the tech 2 let idle but it still shows -2.46. is there any thing else i can do. :help2:

The pump is not in a position where the PCM can relearn a new TDC Offset, just going by your -2.46 you have now, you need to retard the position of the pump to the pass side til the ESO is perpindicular or further toward the pass side.

i went towards the driver side. that must be where i screwed up. i will try to readjust mon. morn. thanks for your help.
