Sometimes just wwaiting a while will allow the either to dissapate enough to let it crank.

I won't ask WHY u would use ether on a warm summer day.

Hopefully it isn't like my friends bobcat w/ a perkins, 3 new pistons from 'a little ether' broke the top of the piston down to 1st ring groove off.

Make sure the fuel shutoff lever on the injection pump opens. Sometimes the manual shut down sticks in the off postion and it will not crank.

Move the lever to the open and close, back and forth and have a buddy watch it on the pump to make sure it is moving back and forth. If it isn't moving on the pump, simply push it open with your finger. Spray it with wd40.

I hope this helps, I've had the same problem with my old 555

Might have to put the battery charger on it to get her to turn over. Also there are differant grades of ether, try to find one that has upper cylinder lube in it. My experiance is , if you shoot it through the filter you can use a little more than if you inject it right in to the air box it self. And always try to make sure you're turning the motor over while you spray the ether. Our old 1066 international needs ether year round on the first start up of the day.

Try checking the starter. I had a bendix shatter and get lodged in between the flywheel and housing on a Waukesha 7042GSIU V12 locking it up solid on a brand new overhaul. Talk about liked to crapped my pants when the company man we built this for was standing right there and we couldn't even turn it with a 48" pipe wrench w/ a cheater on a first startup. We soon found the problem and had it runnin' in no time so we got to keep our jobs. Hope this helps.
