Got tuner and had to do some crazy extract and download for this thing to even recognize my truck and once it did it acted fine but the tuner kept shutting off like losing power i chalked it up to loose cord so i checked all conections then started the wild download procedure and once it started i carefully set the tuner down to get a jacket couple mins later i go check on it and the freaking tuner is off again and im getting every error mess under the sun on dash and all lights are lit .....i tried to get tuner to come back on with no luck and truck wont even turn over and its in the middle of my driveway blocking all my rides . Its been a mightmare since i ordered this thing please help

More then likely it was operator error.

I am guilty of going into a panic when my stuff doesn't work. I once had my Auto start not work and I freaked because I couldn't get the truck started. Once I called the tech and he told me what to do, I realized it was my fault and calmed down.

Hopefully it is fixed!

Hope you got her up and going. I am betting the connection at the OBDII port was not quite pushed in all the way, or perhaps the HDMI cable was loose or faulty.

Let us know if you need any more assistance. Our tuners will automatically revert in to a "recovery" mode if the download completed "flag" is not set once entering the download. This will usually take care of any issues that can arise from an interrupted download process.

i have been really busy . The tuner was bad the hdmi connection on the back of the mini max was no good . I didnt notice it till i tried to get it to come on when i was trying to fix truck wiggle it one way on wiggle it the other it would cut off. Thats what happened as it was unlocking ecm it went off so i had to hold it a certain way to do the recovery and then they sent me another one out and no more problems !

I would think that the cable has a plug for the OBDII port and then it has an hdmi style plug that goes into the tuner.

Yep I have sold lots of h&s stuff no issues other then few bad pyros but they aren't made by h&s. They make a good product an have been good to me

HDMI style plug I don't believe it is actually a HDMI cable, plug is kinda like my Droid plug in just a tid bit bigger

Yes sir. The high quality shielded HDMI cable design is perfect for our tuning and communication needs. Been using them for a few years now. That HDMI cable is of course adapted to the OBDII block for easy plug in to the vehicle.

Drive in hot with down pipe back ...no dpf or def !! The truck rides as smooth as stock under normal conditions and pulls like a plate kit when i mash on it !! Already love the +2.5 mpg and i know theres more if i drive normal but its hard to do . The only complaint is the tranny !
