I have had my rig tuned with perf tune for awhile now and love the tuner. Tomorrow i'm going to haul a 2 horse trailer with 2 horses. Should i reflash to tow tune or can it stay in perf tune? Trip will be about 20 miles round trip if that makes a diff. The manual doesn't really apply to the LML that came with it. I'm thinking i need to reflash to tow but any final word / opinions?

TIA

I have the same tuner and recently towed my 7000 lb boat on performance tune the egt's got very high 1400 at times. I would recommend the tow tune. The next time I tow I will use the tow tune just to be safe

I ended up using the tow tune and the MPG improved even with the 35" tires. I seen 13mpg during stop and go traffic and 17 at 50-55mph cruising. Pretty good IMO

That's with the trailer? What is the size/weight of the trailer?

Thanks,

The trailer weighs about 3000lbs with 2 1200lb ea horses. (5400lb total)
