I guess Gm has gone the way we did back in the fall of 2000 with our first Duramax.He said it some how pluggs in to the wireing harness also for water in fuel monotering with the existing system.They have a shield available for extra protection.He did not know what the micron was.
I'll check into it later and see what i find.
