A few years back I bought a 2002 1500 2wd gas truck in extended cab/short bed. The intention was to build a drag truck out of it. I have a Art Morrison 4 link rear clip with a super stout 30 spline 9" rear, strange springs and shocks etc. Chromoly tube kit for building a cage, etc. I took the truck to a local fab shop about 3 yrs ago as memory serves and it's been sitting ever since. Hasn't been touched. I don't even want to see the guy, I'll have someone pick it up for me.

So I am at a crossroads. Do I pull it and take it to a different fab shop or do I sell it off and move on? I've also considered putting the gasser stuff back in as we kept most everything.

Dont give up on it, take it to someone else. I wish you were closer to me, I own a small welding/repair/fabshop here and would love the opertunity to be involved in such a project. The type of work I'm usually doing is greesy, rusty and covered in chemicals. This sounds like a fun project, you just stumbled across the wrong shop.
