Just bought a 2007.5 duramax..has a PPE HOT tune..I put it on level 2..it saids max speed 200mph..why is it still shutting off at 100??..Am I doing something wrong,or does this programmer not take the limiter off?

Not sure about the PPE but the edge evo don't shut the speed limiter off till you are in level 3 or higher. I run my truck up to 126 mph not long ago. I think it had more but I let off.

My Predator you have to set your own limiter . Otherwise it comes set at 98 IIRC. I found out the hard way LOL.

You have to set the speedlimiter seperate in the menu.

Modify speed limiter, adjust tire size, adjust axle ratio, and remove security.

SPEED LIMITER

A lot of us had a problem with this on an old version of PPE's tunes. Make sure yours is updated to version 2.49, the version yours is holding can be found when you plug it in and read the start up screen.
I updated mine and it solved the speed limiting problem, trust me I found out the hard way..... it was at Englishtown dragway in teh 1/4 mile:eek:

Which truck model year is this on? You have the regular evo, not the cts/cs? Might not shut it off but you can move it up if you want, correct?
