I use that filter and so far 11,000 miles later no problems. I did notice the turbo sound more and seemed to have quicker throttle response.When I put my exhaust on is where I noticed the mpg increase. I paid with tax and shipping $250. It was very easy to install, very easy.

I tried it with no real improvement. It did come SOAKED with oil and I had to wash it out and re-oil.

so we have a good and a bad i guess so far...what kind of MPG increase did you see once you put the exhaust on

I would estimate 2 mpg. City I get 15.5-16.5, hwy as 17.5-18.5 per tank. Those are hand calcs. Trailering last drip at 72 mph was 12.75 mpg. My DIC numbers are normally very close. I only have had one tank at 19.2 mpg but that was farm roads running 55-62 mph. Lots of variables - ie, wind, road, tires, hills, diesel fuel.
