Noticed in this forum someone indicated correct procedures to change the fuel filter. On the 05 control on the steering wheel gives an indicating of the % life left in the filter. The instruction books explains how to reset the oil setting but not the fuel filter setting.

Has anybody done this, if so, how is it accomplished. I assumed it may reset it self after you remove and reconnect the filter sensor wire after replacing the fuel filter. Hate to ask dumb questions but totally new to diesels. Thanks in advance.

Change the DIC so the fuel filter life shows.. hold the arrow button down for a couple seconds and it will reset (just like the oil life resets).

thats strange, I don't have that option on my DIC?

the arrow button is on the terring wheel,maybe you don't have that.I think they only came on the LT models.
