I've been reading this site for the last three years before and after buying my Duramax; however, this is the first time registering and posting a question. It's a GREAT site, full of good experience and information.

Has anyone ever used one of these 9volt to Cigarette adapter memory keepers to prevent such memory as the radio pre-sets, seats, etc from disappearing when the battery is disconected? Do they work?

Never used one the only thing I seen that got lost was the time. Radio presets all remained. Not sure on the seat memory. Never use them. Not sure what you plan but if disconnecting batteries to mess with wiring I rather not have any power on. But i guess they work. Autoparts store guy was gonna plug one in once but I rather not take a chance of sparking under the hood. But they use them.
