I have a 2003 Chevy Silverado and just bought a Lance camper. Looking for feedback on what tow mirrors to buy. Heard the Powervision and Schefenackers might be good.

I have the Lucerix Mirrors and have since early 01. Have worked Great, I think they are now called CIPA mirrors

I've had the CIPA and the TTT. The TTT extend out farther and have a built in adjustable spot mirror. But CIPA looks like they have redesigned their and they look pretty good now too. Look exactly like the F**d towing mirrors with the buil in spot mirror. The CIPA had more flat glass than the TTT do. The CIPA I felt looked better on the truck since they are more rounded where the TTT are pretty angular.

My vote though would be for the TTT.

While I liked the OEM Powervision tow mirrors on my 03 when I got them, I have changed my mind since then. They shake to much and sometime stick closed when cold. Also they do not extend far enough out,(tow a 5th wheel) looks like the 06's changed the tow mirrors probably due to many complaints. The Schefenackers, which also make the Ford OEM seem to be the best looking to me, though some have said they howl at certain highway speeds.

Another vote for the TTT. The mirrors work great and are easy to install. There was an issue with the whistle, but TTT has fixed the problem.

I've got a lot of the Lucerix/Cipa mirrors out there, and a lot more of the Schefenacker TTT mirrors. The Cipa units are holding up fairly good, while the TTT have been outstanding. I've had quite a few converts from the OE Powervision and they have reported positively on the upgrade.

I am also another one of Kennedy's converts from the OE's to the TTT's; extremely happy with them and even the wife has said when she is driving they are a huge improvement over the stockers.

The TTT's have been great, covers the blind spots and lets me see behind the trailer.

I have the Cipa's, and like them alot. Big 'ole flat glass mirror allows you to see very well.

And yet another vote for the TTT Schefenacker mirrors. I have had mine for about a month. Nice being able to see clear down the sides of my 5th wheel. Instillation was fairly straight forward, http://www.ttt-mirror.com/ be the address. :ro)
