With all my misery lately I am hard pressed to continue on I really want to but have a hard time justifing it so i was wondering what a dmax set up like mine would be worth. Here is the goodies
2004 27500 miles crew cab LS truck stickered at $42000.
rhinolined, husky liners,tie rod sleeves, superdiesel centerlink, fabtech idler , pitman arm and steering stabilizer, traction bars, stroub safety blanket, kill switch, titan classv reciever, bumpbars, roll pan, pulling hitch, overload springs, front reciever and weight bar, 800pounds weight, fass filtration and pump, edge 145w/trippen mount, elocker,ppe tuner, injectors, superdieselcp3, ats charger, afe intake, carter kicker pump,soon to be suncoast v built for pulling, banks 4"exhaust, autometer boost gauge 0-60psi. two sets of tires 305 70 16 x terrains and 285 bfg allterrains both mounted on 16 x8 aluminium rims.
I think i know what it would be worth what do you think.

My best guess would be get a value from http://www.Kbb.com/ & figure atleast 1/2 price of the mods.

I could do that too but with the mods like the trans, charger, and injectors it would be a little more complicated, I also would like to see it still out there pulling.

Now, if your relationship with your wife is in serious jeopardy because of pulling, that's a good reason to get out..Or, if you simply can't afford the hobby...

On one hand I love pulling this thing and hope to keep it going, on the other things just have not been going smooth lately and my time is focused on my truck not my family(three kids), man its like being addicted to drugs its all I think about all day long and I want more, more, more.
I just wanted to put feelers out there to see what it is worth to another puller or future puller probably will not sell it unless the right offer comes along. What i got out of the blue book value was 32000 and if you add up the mods and even cut them in half well it ain't going to be cheap to buy this truck.
If I can beat Tomac the price will probably go up another $10,000!:lol:

Mike, I don't know what your D-max is worth but I bet the magical switch in the truck that make it run so good would be worth alot to others with a D-max.

Big D, don't give up we need more good running trucks in Michigan. I think you just need a couple good pulls to get back into it. Are you going to pull with us this weekend? Along with your wife my wife also has a name for my truck she call it My Mistress. Don't give up we need more pullers in this state.

personally when i look for a used vehicle i stay away from modded ones. you'll make way more if you put itback to stock and sell the mods. many people (myself included) look at a modded truck and think of the beating its taken which lowers the value in the buyer's eyes. now the only exception is if you can find someone who really WANTS it for what it is.. then you could do ok.

Why cant you cummins boys accept the fact that technology is making its way around for the dmax? I am so f 'ing tired of hearing that nos is the only way to make a dmax run. Watch George Peterson and tell me he aint got a magic switch. I am not saying that it has never been done before, but you need to realize more fueling options, turbos, are now available. :rant:
it not for sale i am going to finish what i started, next year will be better err 2 years as thats the length of the warrenty on the new trans
