One day I popped the hood and there was this reddish oily substance on my AFE intake tube.I looked around to see a source and seen nutta.Had it out one of those wicked hot humid days and turned on the AC,just was blowing hot air? WTF Not even sure if it's related-

So I brought it in

Anyone just have theirs empty out? Well that's what the dealer told me mine did as They recharged with the dye and couldn't find the leak :confuzeld

There really isn't exposed seals that could have done this just pop and self fix,is there?

When did you get your injectors done? Have you used the A/C since? They probably had to unhook some lines and didn't recharge it.

It was some time ago,ghesh hard to remember but it seems like it was near a year ago.

Nonetheless I have used it plenty and it worked well. I don't get it

I do alot of air conditioning work on class 8 trucks and have never heard of system having no freon and there not be a leak somewhere.Or have I experienced system being empty and no leak somewhere.They don't just fix themselves...Probably has a slow leak and they aren't taking the time to look for a leak.My bet is whatever was disconnected when injectors were replaced is the source.This my .02 and nothing more..
