My truck set an SES light coming down the interstate last night. I was running 65-70(In XTreme) at the time I noticed it, but it could've happened at an on ramp. I'm not running lift pumps, and I just changed my fuel filter to the new design with more pleats. I was thinking it might be fuel demand related, but I was driving the truck hard at all.(even on the on-ramp) Any ideas? I'm going to try to find someone with a code reader today and get it checked out, but I thought some of you might have a good idea as to what it is.

Thanks Tony. I didn't know if it was normal to set one with just normal driving.

If you do not have a lift pump then I would suspect you need one ASAP..........if you didn't go into a 2000 rpm limp mode then it may be soemthing else........You have got to get a code reader for sure............I suspect that the p1093 code might be stored but not affecting performance much............ .........just a hunch.........
I have not set any P1093 codes except when I got a bad load of fuel and my filters plugged to the point I set a few of them..........at the time I was not running the TTS ECM and was running stock........so it went into limp mode
Let us know what they were...........could be an unrelated code........

Going to get it checked today. Might just buy a code reader. Does anyone know of a decent reader that doesn't cost an arm and a leg?

Went to get the code read last night. P0093 and P0103. Does anyone know what they are. I think one has to do with the MAF maybe? The cross-referencing book couldn't find the first one. I figured it was fuel related, and their book didn't handle diesels.
On Edit: After looking at a DTC code list, I believe the guy running the scan-tool couldn't read and it was really a P1093. The MAF sensor code appears to be valid. Does anyone know what would cause the MAF to set this code?

Code P0093 is low rail fuel pressure. Mine would fall on its face on heavy excelleration and show this code. Ended up being the rubber lines at the FICM were collapsing and not allowing enough fuel to flow through them.

Thanks, that makes sense, since I'm running a big program.
Still not sure about the MAF code.

Does anyone know what would be causing the MAF sensor code?P0103?
