EFILIve is working on Cummins support. As to what and where they are at currently and what is supported i do not know. Not much knowledge in the Doge realm. Look at some post on EFILive forum site as well as some of the EFILive post here as to info on the Cummins support. As to other programmers no idea.

EFI is still a ways out for Cummins. Smarty is the best tuner for that truck. It can be stacked with a pressure box for some pretty serious power. Will need a built trans if he turns it up.

As said, smarty hands down. EFI live is not that far out (3-8 weeks), he could wait for that.

The smarty is arguably the best programmer for the Cummins. It depends on what he wants out of the truck.

Marco from Mads electronics is coming out with the Smarty SSR also, pretty close to the EFI live.

There are a lot of factors to consider. Have him join a good cummins site to get the info he needs, or ask me. I don't know everything, but I've been around the block once or twice.
