Just my luck. I buy a used burb and it wont start. Here is what happened. Bought truck and all was good. Then it wouldn't crank. the used car lot i bought it from thought it was the starter solenoid so they replaced it. when they replaced the starter/solenoid the truck started fine. when i went to pick it up it wouldn't crank again. you can hear the solenoid click once like the starter is engaging but thats all ya get. The Dattime running lights go out and nothing else.
My questions is does the truck require both batteries to start?
Is there something that can cause the truck not to crank when hot?
Are there shims on the starters that could cause the problem when the new starter was installed?
is there a relay or somethign between the battery and the starter that could cause the problems?
I am thinking that there is a dead cell in one of the batts or a bad wire.
If there is sometig major that sounds suspect please inform me. I want to make sure all is well when i pick up the truck this time.
Thanks
