I have airlift airbags on my LML and need to put a gooseneck ball in my truck for my new car trailer. I know being so new not many probably have both but B&W did not know if it will work or not. The air lift bags have U-bolts that go over the top of the frame.

I have a Superglide and air bags, with that set up and I suspect with the B&W also you CANNOT use the U-bolts. If you go back the the AirLift instructions you will find that they address the issue of the hitch frame brackets. There are center holes on the upper brackets to mount the brackets to the frame and not use the U-Bolts, thats what you will need to do if the B&W fouls the u-Bolts.
Your AirLift kit should have come with 4 self tapping bolts for that type of mounting; you will have to drill 4- 5/16" holes to start the bolts. Problem is there's not much room and the frame steel on the new LML frame is really hard so get ready for quite a work out.
Hint, to make it easier start with a small bit and then an intermediate before using the 5/16"; that is unless you are a gorilla. Also a lift would be a vast improvement over groveling around and drilling under the truck as I did. Another hint remove the ABS and brake line from the bracket, back of the axle on the driver side or you won't be able to hold the drill straight up to drill the hole. Good luck.

Thanks for the reply. I was thinking it would not work with the U-bolts.

2500, I went to the B&W web site and it looks like the B&W frame brackets are really thin so it could be that you could move the upper AirLift bracket tight to the out side of the frame and maybe get the B&W mount in. The SuperGlide mounts are 3/8" so there wasn't a chance for them.

I noticed that too. It looks like there is enough clearance between the frame and bed and there is a gap between the u-bolt and frame so maybe it will work. I guess I'll find out next week. Really don't want to have to drill holes in the frame.

The AirLift bags fit great with Turnover ball on the LLY. I have been running that combo for a few years.

I had the same setup but I think the issue is with the boxed frame on the LML and the way the airbags mount. I think I'd remove the bags, install the B&W and then see if I could mount the airbags on there with the u-bolts. The B&W hitch is awful heavy to be wrestling with under the truck to only find out that you are going to have to remove the bags anyway.....just my 2 cents

I have 2010HD with a B&W turn over hitch, airbags and a Titan 52 gal tank......evrything fits. I had them installed in this order: hitch, airbags then tank.....not sure if it matters on the order.

Got the turnover ball installed today. U-bolt brackets fit with it just barely.
