i just installed this and can not believe i have to pull my radio fuse just to change the program. what a pain the ass. i guess i should have readinto the programers more. but i hear the edge is good

Just to make sure I am following this. You have changed your DSP5 to serial and for the Edge CTS Insight to change to different DSP tune you have to pull the radio fuse?

I want to change the DSP5 Switch serial. So I don't have to pull the fuse.

Do you have the EFILive software and Flashscan hardware?

Still not following what you mean. Simply open your DSP5 tune. Make the change to the switch paramater. Save the tune. Pull your radio fuse. And then Full Flash to the truck. Put fuse back in. Then you can remove your DSP5 switch.

nope looking for someone with it. so i don't have to pull the fuse whan i want to switch power levels.

I had to pull the radio fuse on my LB7 only because I had an aftermarket radio installed. If you do not have an aftermarket radio or remote start you do not have to pull the radio fuse. Give it a try and see what happens.

So looking for someone with a flashscan to set this up for you?
Post where you are and maybe someone can help out. Will cost $99 to license one ECM/TCM with the flashscan V2.

The fuse you must pull... If you remove the fuse block from the fender well, clip the wire, run a wire to a switch in the passenger compartment and back out to the fuse box, you could interrupt the circuit with a flip of the switch. That's all. Simple work-around.

You do not have to pull the fuse to change power levels with the Insight and EFI. You do not have to pull the fuse unless you have an aftermarket radio, remote starte, or some other aftermarket product that hooks to te CAN Bus.
