I don't know if the Edge will do the DPF delete, but it is available on the vans. Why not just do EFI, it would be easier to put it back to stock if need be

EFI Live is the best way to tune the dmax hands down. It is custom tuning, for your vehicle, to make it do exactly the way you want it to. You can get EFI 3 ways-
1)Buy a pretuned ECM from someone like duramaxtuner.com. They take your vehicle info and write an ECM for you. Last I checked it was about $450 for an ECM with 5 shift on the fly tunes and DSP5 switch
2)Buy an EFI Flashscan device, then you can purchase tunes off the computer and load them whenever you want.
3)Buy the software and flashscan and write your own tunes. This is $$$ and you can mess stuff up easy
If you do want a "canned" tuner, PPE is the best for the dmax. And they will do DPF delete. I just don't know if they are van compatible with no Allison behind the motor.

EFILive can tune the ECM and remove the DPF programming but there is no DSP support for the OS versions used in the vans.

Thanks Tanc, I didn't know that. Still the best way to tune these motors though

Yes EFILive will work on the Vans. The trucks are more available so the work into the DSP2 and DSP5 feature was done. And the OS versions between the trucks and vans are different.

For my EFILive tuning I only dealt with Nick from DuramaxTuner. I am not sure if he has done vans but goto www.duramaxtuner.com and get his number to call. If he does not then here on this site goto the EFILive section and hit the Search This Forum box and search for ' best tuner '. That should give you names to many others here to check with.

Might want to call some of the site vendors, I'm not sure if the kits for the trucks fit the vans as well. I have links to a couple in my signiture that I've used in the past. They should be able to answer your questions. Sounds like your gonna have a bad a** van there!
