I am thinking about making some bio in the near future and was thinking about using the appleseed method to start out. My biggest worry is my LB7...is the appleseed a good processor? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

The "appleseed" is just a name people call their water heater converted to a bio-diesel processor setup. I don't think it's a processor you just buy you actually have to build it. I think it's called appleseed because it's like craving an apple and all you have is a seed. You then need to cultivate, plant, fertilize, prune, harvest, then you get your apple (bio-diesel) lol
You can build one in under 2 minutes

The Appleseed design works very well. It is insulated, so it retains the heat needed for a complete reaction. It has fittings in it already and a heater. I bought one a guy built and used. I used it for a few batches and changed some things. It works very well. I get complete reactions. I wash and dry in a cone bottom tanik.
If you want info, PM me and I will give you my e-mail address and phone #. It can be a little complicated to get started. Simple once you get the hang of it. I also know most of the things NOT TO DO! HA

I may be getting away from the appleseed. I may use a setup that Rilla BioFuels uses. It is pretty simple and low cost to get started. Wags....I will send you a PM. Thanks.
