called tech assist on an injector issue and asked if they have heard any thing in the lly...
tech assist has stated that they have had a few complants of noise from the turbo and engineering is looking into it. they think the turbo makes a different noise than the old design. nothing to worry about.
any lly owners out there let us know what you think of the over all feeling of the new monster..............

It's a totally different turbo. Different manufacturer (Garret) and it's a VGT (Variable Geometry Turbo).

Same one used on the new Ford 6.0 PSD.

Yes since it's so different it sounds different. The 6.0 PSD is obnoxiously loud (whine) if you change your exhaust and/or intake. Sounds like a jet engine. No exaggeration.
