so I was on Banks website the other day and noticed that they have a hand held palm tungsten PDA with a touch screen that you can use to tune the six-gun. has anyone tried it?

I contacted Banks and they said it is a $599.00 upgrade. and with it there is no need for the speed loader. it uses an infered transfer protocol to talk to the six gun that is located in a cradle that you mount on the dash somewhere. I was impressed. the cool think about this pda is you can load GPS software and an external antenna and you have a gps in the same unit.

not to mention it is portable so you can load mp3's on it and tie it in to trucks stereo. some please keep me updated.....

I think I will stick with edge...the only cool thing is you can take you palm and show people what your truck runs without them calling BS...what if you forget your palm...can you use banks?
A neat thing I hear was you can program engine settings you like and get them on the fly...I think I will stay with EDGE for now tho. I do like BANKS 4" dual exhaust tho.

October 2005's Petersons 4wheel & Off-Road. Its basicaly a center fold, a nice one at that. It has all of the Banks stuff (gas and diesel) and top right it has a view of a red D-max with 4" duals by banks. Also has info on the new powerPDA and torque converters.

Although the PowerPDA will read and clear codes, why don't they make it so you can reprogram the ecm for tire size changes? Seems like they would have the market then. You would combine the features of a box and a programmer.

Good call, I see it will display corect speed on the pda but it doesn't look like it will correct your speedometer.
