any one else have a problem with blended fuel, and really bad engine noise when running a programmer ???? painter

I have the 2007 Silverado with the Lmm and what I am seeing is when I had the PPe programmer installed at 40 hp it has a louder diesel noise/ diesel rattle when accelerating. and then when I took out the program it is still doing the same thing and I do not understand why? Is that what yours is doing to.:mad:

What all mods do you have?
You add anything at the same time as the PPE?

talked to a friend of mine who is a diesel tech., and he told me not to run a program using anything but #2 as there is not enough cetane to take it. said thet noise I was hearing was from the pistons and to continue using it that way would bust pistons.also it took about 20 miles of driving for the noise to go away with stock settings put the tune back at # 1 noise was back instantly, back to stock and about 15 miles noise was gone, guess I wait for warm weather to put it back. ( 15 below this morning )...painter
