http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Question.gif Been using Lubriplate 1200-2 as a multi-purpose wheel bearing, chassis and U-joint grease for a long time. Never had any problems with Lubriplate but for some odd reason I have been thinking of switching to Mobil 1 Synthetic grease. Lubraplate 1200-2 is easy to get, not too expensive, can be used for most applications and seems to lubricate and protect well.

For those of you doing your own maintenance what grease are you using?

Have you had problems with any particular brand or specific product?

I've been using Mobil 1 grease, but I'm giving serious consideration to giving Schaeffer's a try. Look on Dmaxallitech's website.

I use M1 in everything -- engine, tranny, diffs and tcase -- so it just seemed logical to make my grease M1 also. So far, so good...

I use M1 for everything, all my vehicles including ATVs and snowmachines. If it takes oil or grease I use M1 and have been for years. Never had a lube related problem, see no reason to switch.
