I have been reading and shopping for my "new" 2004 Duramax with just 22000 on it. I have purchaced a Volant air system, Juice/attitude and am now looking to buy a Cat Back exaust.
Any opinions on these two?

Unless I change headers I see no sense in any of the duel configs, am I right?

Duals is just looks, go for it if you like the looks.

Buy what ever system you like based on looks and sound(if you can listen to one or both) There are lotsa other exhausts co.s and it mostly comes down to sound and looks and material ect. and that drives price. Some like quite, some like loud, some like in between.

these don't have typical style header configs like gassers do..both headers on a duramax feed directly to the turbo (instead of a true dual exhaust) and come out as one pipe on the passenger side so you can still put cat back duals on it. I know MBRP makes a dual system, but not sure about the ones you reference.

I chose my duals because I like the uniform look and because I was hoping that by splitting the exhaust I wouldn't soot up the truck as much. If you want to try magnaflow Tbyrne is haveing a group purchase on them a couple threads down. Good luck.
