Hi guys
I have a edge evo and have been running level 4 to shut off egr.
Just wondering if I can go to level 1 and unplug the wire to the egr.
I just don't want all that soot in there and edge won't turn off unless at level 4 and up. If I can do it this way, is there any side affects?
Thanks
Gary

I have been running that way for quite some time...EGR connector unplugged - I change levels all the time based on what the truck is doing (towing, racing, around town driving)...no issues...

I thought I probably could. It's to bad Edge didn't just shut it off on all tunes.

The race evolution used to do that. They had issues with turbo surge on some trucks due to exhaust back pressure caused by increased boost. Just install an EGR blocker plate to fix any issues. They are inexpensive and easy to install.
