does anyone have thoughts on this with this idea. this should work for everyone even in the winter if we put two way valves at the radiator where the trans lines go in to the radiator so during the summer turn them one way to bypassed the trans from the radiator so the trans isn't heated by the radiator because if the radiator is 210 then the trans cooler has to work extra hard to drop temp of the trans and then turn it back in the winter should solve trans heat problem.
i don't see it helping the engine temp by much tho

The trans cooler is on the cold side of the radiator. If you bypass the radiator in the summer you will need an enormous external trans cooler to handle the heat. The radiator trans cooler is very efficient since it is a water to oil vs air to oil heat exchanger.
