So I take my truck in to the $tealer today. I accidently popped a grease boot on the outer tie rod end when installing SD sleeves. They say that I need new outer and inner tie rod ends on both tie rods along with new upper ball joints. Is this all from the T-Bars being cranked or just general wear and tear, trucks got about 37k on it with little or no off road use.

Also they want 250-350 to install green keys.

:sheephump I don't think so, not at 37K, UNLESS you did some serious abuse to the front end.:confused: My boss's '02 has 160K (with major abuse) and I just replace tie rods on it at 120K.. If it is that big of a problem they should extend the factory warrenty and fix it for free:ro):lol:

I think they should fix that and like I said in the other thread, you can install those keys yourself. Just get the tool from Eric, he has a rental plan and then you will be set. Take you a little time and you can follow the instructions that are posted on here in the DIY section (I think) and then go from there. Good luck

No there is a nation wide vaseline shortage. The Censored oil companies have bought all vaseline products so that we may have no relief when they areCensored us at the pumps.:rant:

lol, got it back and it rides pretty nice and steering doesnt seem as sloppy... hmmmmmm

It probably was worn pretty good. If you did not change pitman/idlers prior/when you added the supports, they were shot too.

they seemed to be/fit okay, I dont really ride my truck too hard. I have done a couple 4x4 launches but nothin to seerious.
