What would have the higher EGT's ?
a) Completely stock GMC Dmax (04.5 LLY) with Allison
OR
b) Same truck but with swiss cheesed air box (Stock air filter), 4" Cat back
Magnaflow exhuast, and an Edge EZ module set at level 1?
As for the driving conditions just assume that they are the same for both. I never race or bag my truck just looking for a bit extra fuel economy.
Thanks for your thoughts and opinions. Bank of Wife is probably going to let me get either a Cowl induction hood or the chip so I'm just trying to see if the chip will have any adverse effects on egt's with this set as compared to stock. It seems to run pretty cool right now. I also plan to put 265's on it next year. :help: Chip or Hood. I can't make up my mind!
