I have a 04 F-650 with a CAT C7 in it and theres a ticking that sounds like a exhaust leak. It not to loud outside the truck but you can hear it real loud in the cab or near the exhaust pipe like its echoing in it.

If you listen for it it sounds like its comming from the waste gate. Does anyone know what the noise could be? Is there something in the waste gate that could go bad and tick?

It ended up being the valves taping. Thanks for all the input.
