Help was getting ready to trade 05 LLY for 2011 and was removing the bully dog program now it wont start. The first attempt to remove stopped mid way. I removed the five fuses that it said to remove for install and it completed removal. Turn the key and nothing happens, put up code 0831 which is glow plug. But honestly i don't were to start. thanks for any help.

Leave the battery cables unplugged for about 30 mins. Then go out and try again. I would try the Bullydog Tech support when they open up, as I've seen them help a few get out of these situations when it stops mid way, etc.

Hopefully they can so you don't have to buy a new ECM.

Make sure parking brake is set, lights off, inside and out. Be sure nothing is plugged into the cigerette lighter, radio is off and doors are closed. Some LLY computers are very sensative to any draw of juice which can disrupt removal, generally not installation of programmers. BullyDog tech line is one the best in the business for assisting issues. It sucks you'll have to wait tell Monday but they will be able to walk you thru, get it reset and unloaded with you. Good luck.

Make sure the fuses under the hood are all in place and tight. I have a jumper to mine in the same fuse that works with the glow plug relay and it came loose. Truck did the same thing...no start. Just re-bent the jumper, and pushed the fuse in...problem solved!
This was on an 05 LLY.
