My trucks been in the shop for a while. It has been having wiring problems and Im ready to let it go. I found a 6.0 with the 5 speed in it. Is it a good combo? I don't know much about the sticks in GMs. Its an 2007 and it feels good. Clutch feels tight and gears are smooth. I didn't know what to look out for in this set up. I can get it for 12k with 120k on it. Its a nice work truck, so didn't know if anyone had one and could tell me a little about the stick and if its good or better than a auto. I will post some pictures tomorrow for you to see.

Thats kinda what I figured, as far as the internals go, the only thing is the clutch. From the reading I have done, it is a NV4500.

Went ahead and bought it.. Good looking truck and runs out strong. Hopefully it will be a good truck for the business. I'll get some pictures up tonight or tomorrow.

you will like it. I have one and use it hard... Pull a 32' 5th wheel 2 car trailer... no diesel, but still has some balls...

How many miles do you have on yours? Have you had to do a clutch yet? Wondering if there is a aftermarket performance clutch and short throw shifter for it. So far I really enjoy my truck!!

the shifter broke at 70,000 miles, they replaced the clutch when they fixed that but it still had life left....
