Is it possible to run efi live for all tunning and just use the six gun on the stock setting to use the IQ for the guages? (Still will have to put in a Dsp5 switch) Since some of us are still waiting for the stand alone update to come out, which in now to be out by the beginging of March. At that point i can take out the six gun.

Yes you can run the Banks that way. I have read even in stock the Banks and Edge module stuff can still make some weird things. I guess since it may still be interfacing between the ECM and various modules and sensors. I guess one may call it a timing issue may result but most notice nothing over all.

What stand-alone update are you referring too?

There is an update coming out in march to make the banks iq a stand alone unit

Ok I see. So it will end up plugging into the OBDII port and not into the engine wiring harness?

Been using Banks six-gun on stock with EFI for two years and haven't had a problem.
