One quick question. I tried getting it from the pictures but can't see it.

does the supply line (orange, from the vac pump) go towards the front or rear of the wastegate solenoid? (in relation to the front/back of the truck)

I cannot tell, I think they may have been hooked up backwards, but I don't want to hook them up backwards if they were properly hooked up. If I hook the lines up one way, no vaccum and the solenoid doesn't sound like a PCV valve (that rattle sorta noise), if I hook it up the other way, it rattles like a PCV valve (the little thing inside it goin back and forth quickly) and I have vaccuum at the actuator, I don't know if hookin them up 'backwards' is just supplying full vaccuum to the actuator, or if thats how it is actually supposed to be.

Thanks in advance!

I think the orange goes to the front.

When I took my vacuum pump out there is only two lines. One that goes to the selinoid and the other that goes to the waste gate from the selinoid. IMO it doesn't make a difference as to which way it is hooked up as long as you get vacuum to the waste gate. The selinoid just determines how much vacuum and when you get it by the computer sending a signal to the selinoid to open or close as required. There might be a check valve in the selinoid but at idle you should get vacuum. Hope this helps.

I figured it out. The solenoid had some surface rust inside of it (from sitting) a little bit of light grit sand paper (emry cloth) and some PB blaster, she's working like a champ. Wow. What a difference! Thanks again!
