Every once in a while, right after I let off the key at startup, my 6.0L will make a noise like high-pressure air from an air compressor. Like you are blowing dust with a blow gun.
"PSSSSSHHHHHT!"
It'll do this for about a second, then stops abruptly.
Every 2nd or 3rd time it does this, a P0442 code pops up.
This happens about once every 1000 miles or so, and it's been doing this for about 2 years now. I can never catch it happening with the hood up.
It runs fine, gets normal gas mileage, and has normal power.
