I got the new Triple Dog Power Pup today and it works great. My old programmer is a predator with 100hp and it was not as quick as the power pup. The 230hp upgrade doesn't come out for a couple weeks so all I have now is 110hp. It also stacked alot better with the dominator and the shift on the fly is awsome.

Very cool, well keep us posted... Are you planning on upgrading to the 230hp? Did you notice anymore rattle from stacking?

Geesh! What is the most hp you can get out of programmers now? 230 hp seems to beat all. I take it that most people don't run that setting daily? The fuel mileage can't be good.

I make 496 or something like that to the rear wheels last time I dynoed. Stock truck dynos less than 266 HP to the rears ;)
I dont know about the other programs but I run with the Xtreme set on kill all the time. If it drives nice leave her turned up
Get a trans and get that new bullydog to the track and see what she will do
IMO leave the stock unless you are searching for every last HP. If your not doing a trans upgrade you might as well not do an intake unless you want to hear more turbo noise. Do a search on swisscheese and take a look at the pics on Diesel Powers site www.wackywack.com
Better have a trans to play with the big tune

Its funny that Gmc, ford, and dodge leave so much on the table with their MODEST setting...if you can get 230HP and still keep an engine around it makes you wounder whats the most you can get from just a chip...
I wont hurt the engine in anyway to just keep the chip on ALL the time will it?? for example, shut it off and start it in both cold and hot weather.
I think I will go with TTS, but what brand of guages should I buy? I saw some really cool guages with a white face and blue back light...who makes those??
Thanks all!

I'm going to check everyday until the 230hp comes out and I didn't notice hardly any rattle stacked.

Does the power pup have safty features or do you have to buy the monitor as well. I also read the for the 2001 dura. the superchip wont program for tire size. is that the same with the power pup? I need a programmer with tire size (285's) and safty features. what would be the best for me. I do little pulling and just like to GO everyonce and a while.

I was at bullydog about a three weeks ago and they upgraded my power pup with the 230 download. believe it or not my truck dynoed more hp with the 150 setting without timing than it did with the 230 program, and bullydog was scratching their heads wondering why. I had the 150 stacked with a dyno dominator and was pushing 450hp. 230 stacked, 426hp, and 230 alone was about 415hp. they told me that the dyno dominator acts as a pressure box only when stacked, and i guess that makes sense because i had a duramaximizer stacked also and couldn't tell any differance with it on, i have yet to put the duramaximizer back on since i took it off about a month ago to get warranty work done on my truck. they also said the 230 program has about 14* timing on it, and yes it does rattle a little bit. any load on the engine and the rattle goes away, but just crusing around town it is a little louder than before i put the download on. it smokes more with the 230 program, and my temps get pretty hot, but pushing 37" toyo mts probably doesn't help that much.:ro) i also have the faas system on my truck, and at anything over 100mph i get some pretty serious bursting, bullydog thought i was running methanol on it, but no such luck here. Anybody have any ideas as to why i would run less with the 230? i think it has something to do with my truck, because one of the employees up there has an 03 duramax and he was running 520 with just the 230 download, i had 35s on my truck when i dynoed it, but i have a hard time believing that i would be 100hp less just because of tires. well, hope i didn't get too far off topic, but any answers to my question would be appreciated. anybody in the utah are who wants to try the 230 let me know, i am sure we could work something out.
