I spoke with a couple of different people and gonna get a auto cal box from efi and go that route, should be able to get it tuned pretty close. Anyone else used one of these auto cal units yet?

You will get better results by asking this over at EFILive's forums.

Why not take it to a dyno that uses a wide band O2 or at least install your own wide band O2 sensor in your exhaust and get it right instead of pretty close? Gasser's are way different than diesel's when it comes to tuning.

The closest dyno is about 400 miles from me, thats why i am going this route.

I checked with two of the places and neither were familiar with efi live. Thanks for the info.

Our software works very well on these applications as well. The good thing about the 8.1 is that it uses the same pcm as the 99-03 Corvette/Fbody pcm meaning any shop that tunes those vehicles should be able to tune your truck as well.

There is a member here from Omaha who tuned my 8.1L truck. His name is John, and he knows his stuff. I highly recommend.
