I have a 95 c3500 w/6.5 td,fsd cooler,3.5 inch exhaust,
bd chip,Lately i,ve experienced a hard start when ambient
temps are 30 to 70 degrees F.I,ve replaced glow plugs/
controller/had injectors tested/replaced lift pump/filter
nothing works! starts fine at 80F or above,or below 30
degrees. It does help when i unplug ECT though. Also starts
fine when engine is warm! Any help would be appreciated!

Rick,
What glow plugs did you install, some have installed a manual switch in theirs to keep on longer than PCMs desired on time, but you need the right plugs or you will cook them if they aren't up to the task.

I believe these were AC 60g's from what I remember
they were what the dealer gave me as replacement!!

Rick,
I don't know for sure but I think 60s can handle extended glow cycle, rather than tell you wrong I'd give Kennedy a shout he will know for sure.

On the Diesel Page they have an article on extending the glow cycle for beter starting.
I say something else is wrong though. If the glow plugs are fine and so is the controller then you need to look at other problems. I can't say what other problems as i don't know. I have the "60's in my truck and it starts at 10 below without the block heater. It smokes some but starts quickly

MY truck starts fine when it's 10 below,it only gives
me fits when it's 40 degrees or above. Also starts OK
in the summer (80 degrees or warmer) This is why I
haven't been able to pinpoint the problem!!
This truck also starts worse when block heater is
plugged in.It's somehow temperature related!!

Any suggestions for say -40? Are there any glow plugs that are better in the sub zeros?
My truck will turn over in the really cold, but won't fire.

maybe It's just me, but it's always corroded terminal connections when I have hard starts.
