Hi...I had my whole instrument cluster replaced a couple weeks ago due to a burnt out tranny temp gauge light (dont ask me why the bulbs arent replaceable)...and just today I noticed a couple things. First, they didnt reflash my hourmeter. So now I have like 6000 miles and 30 hours on my truck...doing a little math comes out to me traveling at an average speed of about 200 MPH. Is it possible to simply reflash the hours to a rough estimate of what they were before (i dont remember) with a Tech II?? Arent hours ALSO stored in the PCM?? I hope so...so that way they can pull it up with a Tech II and then program the correct amount into the DIC. Also, I noticed today that my Overdrive lockout light doesnt work. The function works when I hold the T/H button but the light doesnt come on. Are these bulbs non-replacable as well or is it something in the cluster programming?
