Hello.

I recently picked up a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD 4x4 with the Duramax Turbo and Allison tranny.

The truck has a Banks Chevy/GMC 6.6L DURAMAX-LMM Economind Diesel Tuner installed. I was looking around and found a Banks USB bridge under the dash with a USB cable coming out of it.

There is also a plastic disc "patch" in the dash which I assume is to cover up the hole that had a mount or dial in it for the tuner but can't figure out what the cable goes to.

Can someone tell me what the USB cable would connect to?

Thanks.
Nate

USB cable should be for the PDA option or the touch screen gauge face/controller option

That USB goes to the Banks iQ display:

Thanks for the replies. I guess for $500 I will be waiting a bit on getting one of these! ;)

I have the pda verision, but these are way cooler, you can do more & you can get the gpa upgrade too!

So you do not have anything monitoring it? No switch on the fly, monitoring, or scan & clearing codes? When you do decide to buy one. By it directly from Banks. No warranty problems.. Jeff Barker is the Banks site sponsor on this site. Help out this site is another bonus.
