My Van Aaken box quit. Thruck won't run with it plugged in. Wiring is fine. It quit driving down the road.

Does anyone know how Van Aaken handles their warranty? I hope it is exhange through the dealer but I doubt I will get that lucky. I guess I'll find out tomorrow.

That one will depend on the dealer. VA usually comes around for their dealers, but it typically isn'yt until they receive and test the product, then ship with the next order thru. I have only ever had one unit fail and ended up covering the unit till the replacement landed a few weeks later.

I bought it used less then a week ago so we'll see how it works out. Could be scary.

Most distributors/dealers track by serial number so it may help to have that handy.

It ended up that he bought it from Mark Craig at Diesel Performance Parts. I called Mark up this morning and explained the situation. I was straight up with him about how it was acquired etc. He is sending me a new box today and I am sending the defective one back for a full credit minus shipping. He said that it is very rare to have a van aaken box quit.

Since his customer service is so good I also ordered some goodies from him at the same time.

It's ok gald we could help, but now you are tied to DPPI, you can never buy from anywhere else in the world, your eyes are getting heavy go to sleep your new box will be there sooooon!
