GMac. They are the torsion bar index keys for 1/2 ton GM trucks. You can use them on your truck to get up to 2" of front end lift. Do a search for more info.

GMAC,

The green keys lift up the front end without cranking the T-Bars, at least I think. And they seem to ride better than cranked t-bars

I could be wrong, but being that they are an OE part you should be able to have a local dealer do it. It should only cost $50 or so for the keys and what ever their labor rate is.

You can Run 285 without them I have 285's on my truck and the t-bars are not cranked all the way But SPEAKING from experience the Green Keys SUCK and you can Flame away I have a set at the barn I think they ruined my last truck you have to change shocks to they are not worth the hassle for no more than you get just my thought Turbo6600

Last time I was in the shop (few weeks ago), their labor rate was up to $80/hr.

I'm not sure if he still does this, but www.dieseltech.com (http://www.dieseltech.com) (DmaxalliTech) used to rent the torsion bar tool for the DYI installer. With the proper tool, this is an easy job.

Remember, you need to get an alignment after installing these keys.

Id rather have the green keys... BUT you do have to have a few other aftermarket accessories to make them work really well. With the green keys and the proper stuff your truck will ride well. My T-Bars are currently all the way down with the green keys and im sitting level.

heres what i reccomend having
- Cognito leveling kit
- 2" extended shocks
- Pitman/Idler supports
