I want a 90hp tune, but if trannys not gonna hold what do i do? Is there a kit I could install or are we talking totaly new transmission? How much? should i drive it stock till it wont move anymore or fix it now? I dont pull alot mainly just kid driving. PS. please speak in retard language so i can understand.

If you only want to run 90hp I would run it as is. You should be ok for a long time with only 90hp. It won't fail on you all at once and leave you stranded, it will deteriorate over time. If you'v got the money and time you could install a transgo shift kit before you start and that will ensure a real long life but you are looking at about $200 for the kit and $1000+ for the install.

I would suggest that if you have any plans to install more power in the future that you go ahead with a Suncoast stage 3 or more transmission. You will be happy that you did. The trans will fail over time and then you will be in this position at a later date. Might as well have a strong trans from the start and then you will be able to add power as you see fit. Good luck with your decision.

If you make that promise to Never go over 90hp then I agree with Maxpower and run it as is. BUT who stopped at 90hp ?
If you go to the track, you will need some tranny upgrade, eventually.

I ran mine with an edge box at level 4 for 142,000 until it gave up the ghost. Now I am currently putting a Suncoast stage 4 to solve the problem. Now I should be able to run even more power.
