Hello All! This sure is one awsome website. :ro) Anyway, I am the proud new owner of a slightly used 2003 Ext. Cab 4x4 2500HD Duramax and was looking at the EDGE products. The EZ looks to be all I really need, but I can't tell if you can run the Attitude monitor with it. Anybody know? Also, does anyone know how much the new A2 monitor will set a fellow back?

I just asked the same question last week, as I thought the EZ was the way to go for me too.
Simply - No, the Attitude can't be used with the EZ.
You can get a Bullydog powerpup and use the Outlook monitor though.
Good luck with your choice. I ended up getting a steal on a Hypertech III and its awesome. Really wakes up the truck, plus I can correct tire size and search for DTC's

Thanks for the reply. I did a search on here before I posted but could not find a single word about the EZ. Do you run with or without guages with the Hypertech? I thought about a handheld, but I liked the display functions of the Attitude. Also, if you don't mind me asking, where did you get your Hypertech and how much did you pay?
Welcome to the forum. I run Juice version 4.81 no attitude. I have both a pyro and turbo boost guage for towing. I set the Juice on level 3 which is the 75HP tune and Level 2 for towing which is the 60HP tune in tow/haul mode. I had an edge ez amp for about two months and it failed causing my truck to hard start and finally no start. Unplugged it and truck ran fine. Sent it back and edge sent me the new one. I didn't want the attitude because it is a pain to uninstall it to go to the dealer for warranty service. My $.02..Jim

I just got my Hypertech... paid a mere $250 CDN for it..... :D
Got it used out of the local paper.
I'm in the process of adding an A-pillar with boost and pyro b/c I want to keep an eye on things. Eventhough they say you don't have to with the Hypertech I'd rather have the piece of mind of knowledge.

JPW, I have an EZ and I love it. I tow in #2 and the most I have seen in EGT is right at 1300 deg. Unless you are going to tow really heavy, mine is around 8000lbs, I don't think you really have to have guages. Running around town in level one, mpg went up a solid 1mpg. This is hand figured on stock tires.

Thanks for the reply Newtorving. The main reason I like the Attitude monitor, besides the guages, is because it shows your correct speed. Since I went with 285's my speedo is off by about 6.25% according to my GPS.

Yea, I will probably end up going with a Hypertech or Predator if I ever do get anything. I'll be keeping my eyes open for a good deal on something.

I'm sure that there is a user on the board here who is selling a Hypertech. I've seen it in his signature that he's selling it. Watch for it.
If I see it I'll post here who it is.
