I am in the market for a new tuner and I want to go with an Edge CTS Race version. I am having some question issues with my local Edge dealer and would like some help. The truck is a 2009 Duramax/Allison.
First question is, does the Edge tuners come with the Turbo braking feature, and If they do how does it get turned on/ off?
I want the ability to completely disable my DPF so I will need the Race version correct?
Do certain versions or all versions shut down EGR ?
Anything else I should know?
Does the edge have the ability for tire size changes, and top speed changes or other parameters?

I am not a rep but I know the answers to your questions.

The Evolutions come with the turbo brake feature in power level two. You can turn this on or off by using the tow/haul button. When it is in tow/haul mode the turbo brake should be on. With it turned off the turbo brake should be off.

If you are removing the DPF you will have to go with the race Evolution. The standard Evolutions will not allow this.

The EGR goes the same as the DPF. The Race Evolution will allow you to install a blocker plate and will disable the EGR in the upper power levels.

Is this new? I have my EGR blocked and have run stages 1-3 for the past year with no codes.

I understand the RACE EVO wont set codes with EGR blocked - but it still operates in level 1 to 3. Level 4 disables EGR. It can still push open with higher boost unless you block it like you have. I wish it was disabled in all levels because I go to level 2 when towing and have no blocker plate.
