I went to a link from this forum a few months ago about how crappy diesel from the pump was in the U.S. It was also saying how a lot of the old timers put a little isopropyl alcohol in the tank once a month to pass any acummulated water. Anybody remember that one???? :confused:

alcohol is bad.. i wouldn't do that.. if you are concerend about water i would add some FPPF total power or Primrose 405 as they are alcohol-free..

A lot of guys on an alternative fuel forum were talking about adding alcohol to blend in water that was in emulsion. I have always heard that alcohol is bad but never asked why. Can you give me a heads up Diesel Power?

alcohol is bad, at least as far as i know. GM even prohibits using it in additives. i know Primrose and FPPF have no alcohol.
