Just a curious 2002 owner.......
What is a new 3500 4x4 Ext. cab
running these days (out the door
and no tax included)? http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif
I hope to be able to tell you about the end of this week or the first part of next.......http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif
You don't say what kind of equipment you want, mines loaded but I'd be happy to let you know how much it winds up costing if you'd like.

Did the paper work on mine before it got here to get an additional $500.00 auto show rebate.
Be aware that if the salesman prints off a copy of the proposed order showing both retail and invoice pricing, the invoice pricing will be about $500.00 over what actual invoice is, so if you agree to pay so much over invoice, make sure what "invoice" figure that is.
Any rate for the record and from the invoice, this is just the GM pricing and does not include the dealer installed items:
MSRP $46,345.00
Invoice $40,575.63
Supplier $41.053.64
GMS $39,285.78
I paid $41,558.05
Rebate -$3,000.00
Final $38,558.05
You'll need to add what ever your State and local sales/use taxes might be, as well as any document fees the dealer wants to assign which you are unable to bargain away. These proved to be steep in my case. I had asked if the license and document fees would be "about $250.00?" and was told "yes". Well it turned out to be $192.00 for the license, and $249.50 for the dealer to do the paperwork....http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Confused.gif
I flat missed that one in the initial discussions because they'd always been quoted as one fee in my past purchases.
So watch yourself if you do it, there's a lot of questions to be asked since the answers won't be volunteered. Edited by: Zeeb

Its their job to steal from you. Around Charlotte NC all the dealers add the BS Doc fee of around $400.00 + the interior & exterior protection package for $700.00 (worthless),after they advertise $49 over invoice. I bought my last truck in WV. state regulated $49.oo Doc fee and surprisingly NO BS. ( I was looking within 200 mi. for a reg cab DA Dually. hard to find) Edited by: Duallyvette

If you would like a good answer to that I will need a list of options that you want. Do you want a dmax with the allison and do ou want it loaded? I can give you a decent idea with some input!

I just wrapped-up a deal with my local fleet sales manager. And No, I don't have my own business or a fleet of trucks - just called up and asked for the fleet sales manager... Here's the deal I got...
'04 Silverado 3500 Dually Ext. Cab 4x4 (CK35953)
Duramax/Allison, LS plus lots of options - Leather, Bucket seats, power camper mirrors, skid plate, steering wheel controls, etc.
MSRP - $ 44,473
Invoice - $ 39,086
Negotiated Price (not including cash rebates) - $38,600
My TPW is 2/4/04 - I've heard some good news from my fleet sales manager; he's indicated that the current rebates will go up temporarily sometime in February - so I'm hoping my deal will sweeten as I can already count on $2,500 in cash rebates.
Hope this helps!
