I have a weird squeal when I start from a stop in 2nd gear, and it has the same squeal whenever i downshift from 5th to 4th as i let the clutch out, I took the truck to a tranny shop and let them listen to it they said the flywheel might have some buildup on it.....Just before i bought the truck the guy put a valair clutch in but im thinking he didn't resurface or replace the flywheel.....Anybody experience this or notice anything like it... Its an annoying sound and it only does it when the clutch is slipping...the clutch is barely a year old...

My triple disc has a slight squeal too but I think that's prolly it's nature as a pulling clutch. Yours shouldn't squeal though.

Thats what i thought but i wasn't sure cause I don't know anything about the valair clutch the kid before me put in it, im not sure if its heavy duty or just stock replacement
