I am really thinking about a 2006 Duramax but I still want to chip it and have fun at the track. So I was woundering how long do you guys think it will be until power upgrades (chips, hand-helds) are made for the 2006's.
I know I can put a lift pump on, exhaust and better intake ect. Probably play with the wastegate. But I am talking about chips and such.

LLY or LBZ? The existing modules might work on the LLY. You can always add propane until programming boxes are released. Should be good for 100hp or so.

There hasn't been a wastegate in a duramax since Mid 04 when they went to the LLY.

hmmm I would probably guess that current programmers will NOT work on the "revised" 2006 LLY. The reason being the ECM is different and there is no more EDU/FICM also. Id give Edge a call...see what they say.
