also if I have this right, about how much fluid doe's it take??
Yes I did a search but didn't find direct answers.

OK
This is coming from an anal person. I would change the filter because it is there. Fluid neede is 5 to 7 quarts depending on what ran out.

At 20,000 miles I flushed the transmission with Transynd and changed both filters. Good insurance and it runs cooler.

I have heard from Transgo that they experienced temp drops by using TranSynd. I have not seen notable drops using this fluid although I believe it will run cooler. I have seen temp drops after spin on is changed. That is why I recomend changing it every 5K. How do we know how restictive the spin on is? Why take a chance?

Drain and change the spin on and put 7.4 quarts (approx) of Mobil 1 atf in and be happy. :grd:

Any way you cut it, that's a notable drop and it has to help the longevity. Thanks, Gary.

i got 9 quarts out of mine when i changed it. just throwing that out there so you buy enough fluid before you drain it. it keeps you from using words like Censored Censored Censored Censored
